As a selector, FLIGHTplan searches out complex, multi-rhythmic vibes that create sensual environments and moods - and digs for pioneering, organic instrumentation that is over-looked or forgotten in modern electronica increasingly dominated by a predictable “EDM” sound that has lost touch with its ancestry. Rhodes and Fairlight piano riffs, Afro-Brazilian Batucada Samba drumlines, and expertly-crafted synthetic Moog and Roland 303 baselines dominate highly produced aural spaces that inspire movement and musical emotion.
